The Two Certainties in Life

today’s headline reads:

“an aggrieved trump

blames press

for furor over disinfectant comments”

i’m wearing a shirt that says:

may i never be complete, content, perfect

and the cars rumble by

the dogs bark in the distance

the birds tweet

like number 45

but their’s are much more peaceful

and they don’t recommend us

to inject disinfectant

and the letter from the irs sits on my table

like a paperweight

to remind me how the government

controls everything

yet nothing at all

and george carlin once said,

“governments don’t want

an intelligent population

because people who can think

critically can’t be ruled.
